Whether you are a Parisian, an expat or a tourist, The Bustronome will most definitely appeal to you ! The only things you need to love are beautiful sights and excellent food ! I am a Parisian and despite knowing all the main sites, I enjoyed very much spending over 2 hours being reminded how beautiful my hometown is !

I was lucky to experience all of this with my husband and I’m forced to admit that The Bustronome is probably best for couples as the setting is very romantic. It can be a nice thing for a family too but most people seem to come as a couple. It started for us at 7 :45 (1st service of the evening) Avenue Kleber.

You are welcomed with a glass of champagne if you took the wine option with your meal. It was completely dark at that time and Paris by night is obviously the best. The lovely staff explained to us how the audiopen with the map worked. Very useful for people who don’t know much about the main sites and want to learn more !

Bustronome

The 6 courses were exclusively with seasonal ingredients such as chicory, pumpkin, guinea fowl or quince. It’s something I really appreciated as it shows the menu is made with fresh products. Overall a lovely mix of fish and meat with delicious Spanish cheese and an apple dessert.

The portions for each course seem small at first but we were full by the end of the meal – it was six courses !

The wines (one glass of white wine and a glass of red wine) were excellent. You can think that it’s tricky to drink on a bus and be worried your glass falls but they thought it through and your glass won’t move (much) during the bus ride.

It can get slightly annoying when the bus stops for traffic etc but it is still pretty smooth! Of course, the most magical moment is when they stop by the Eiffel Tower just in time for it to sparkle! They let you get off the bus and take some pictures.

After coffee, you are back on Avenue Kleber and it’s time to say ‘Bonne nuit’ !

A wonderful night in Paris !
